Good for a little guy December 30, 2008 This little adapter works pretty well. I was able to use it on my Lenovo Think Pad (R61) with a little bit of effort. The adapter comes with the drivers you will need to sync it up with your device. I had a little trouble with it on my Palm Centrino for Hot Syncing it. I use it mostly for my Moto S9 blue tooth head phones. I really could not get this adapter to work with both though. You have to use the "Toshiba" drivers it came with to stream the audio to my headphones and I have to disable the "Toshiba" driver and use the windows drivers to use the HotSync function with my Palm. Anyway.... It works and I like it. Just need to find a better program to stream the audio.br /br /Pro:br /-Smallbr /-Tight Fit (wont fall out)br /-Great Rangebr /br /Con:br /-Drivers
Functional and Tiny December 16, 2008 If you are the type who needs to frequently exchange devices in your USB ports, this is not the Bluetooth Adapter for you.br /br /If you like working in the dark without light, especially rapidly flashing, bright blue light, to distract you, this is not the Bluetooth adapter for you.br /br /If you're looking for a Bluetooth adapter you can simply plug in and leave in, even in a laptop in a bag, this is the Bluetooth adapter for you.br /br /I'm using this to tether to my cell phone for internet access on some trips. The only issue I had with it is that when I first put it in, it slid in a little too far and the computer would not recognize it. I pulled it out just a little, actually trying to remove it, when Windows chimed t hat it had found a new device and the hyperactive blue light lit up.
WORKS PERFECTLY WITH VISTA October 15, 2008 I have Vista on my laptop and it detected this device and installed it instantly! I now have a small Bluetooth icon on the task bar that I can right click and there are a ton of options to choose from. I can pair up my phone or mouse, transfer files back and forth and do it fast and with ease. Range? How far away do you really need to be? It works perfectly! Also, it is so small that it hides under the lip of the computer. It does blink Blue but I never see it. And if I do look at it at least I know it is working. I LOVE IT! This thing is tiny and rounded so it won't snag on anythng. But like I said, the lip of my laptop covers it so it doesn't stick out. Acer 6920
Der blinkin lights October 14, 2008 I originally purchased this for my laptop, but decided to try it on the desktop first. All the other reviews are correct, the flashing blue light gets very annoying, but is easily fixed with a marker or some tape. I've had no problems with this adapter using a mouse and hot syncing a pda. Just for grins, I tried to use the useless USB ports on my Tarantula keyboard and the adapter actually worked there (nothing else will). So all in all, this adapter is very tiny and will even replace your Logitech adapters with no problems. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the blinking light.
Great Buy October 5, 2008 I love this Micro Bluetooth Adapter! It plugs into the USB port on the back of my laptop, and stays out of the way. I can leave it plugged in, even when I'm transporting my laptop, and it doesn't get in the way. I use this to transfer pictures from my Motorola Krzr phone to my laptop. I have never had any problems with it - the installation/set-up process was easy, and it transfers my pictures very quickly.
