This case fits the iPhone 3G perfectly, allowing easy access to all the ports and buttons. The surface is smooth, but not slippery, so it could help to prevent some falls. I much prefer it to the gel-style case I'd bought at the ATT store, as it feels sleeker, and much more like a "naked" iPhone. The only issue I've noticed is a slight gap at the top of the case, where the two pieces meet.
