Good item that is fairly fragile December 21, 2008 In reading the other reviews I decided to put in my two cents even though I did not purchase it here on Amazon. I bought it today. The phone is rather heavy, twice as heavy as my old phone. It is also a little wider than my old phone. As a guy, we try to find things that are small to place in our pockets. I could not successfully do this with this phone as the weight and size would not allow it to comfortably be there. So I opted for a belt clip. This was the only one I could find after visiting several stores to look at the options. It does snap on rather snug. Its nice that you can use all the buttons charge the phone while in the case. All functions of the phone can be utilized while in the case. I love that feature. I even can place it in locked mode with the case on. So I went forward and bought it from a "authorized Verizon dealer" as the Verizon main store I went to did not have them in stock. So I paid way to much for it after finding them here. But I was able to get it today and not wait for shipping. It was $25, but they gave me a deal at $20 since I purchased the car charger also at $20 marked down from $25. I kind of felt a little obligated since they spent about 90 minutes working with me transfering my numbers to the new Storm and giving me updated info about the phone. So it was a win for me in that case. I do like the case, it fits nicely and will protect the phone. I have a feeling though that if dropped, the case will protect the phone, but will probably crack and suffer the damage. Better than the phone breaking. Reminds me of cycling helmets. br /br /Good luck!
Protective cover December 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was very happy when i received this case for my blackberry/storm the problem is that it's made just a little to small and in less then 2days it had cracked on one side. It still works as protection but it would be better if it was just a little larger
A waist of money. December 15, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This snap on cover isn't even worth the $6 I paid. Since this order took 2 weeks to be delivered I went ahead and purchased a clear snap-on cover from Verizon. While it cost $15, now that this one has arrived it seems like a good investment. It actually seems like it will last more than a week unlike this item. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP.
broke the first day December 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This snap on cover broke the very first day. And it didn't break from any serious incident. Actually I don't even know why it broke. The parts of the cover that snap together broke or cracked in several places. I would not buy this product.
Good protection December 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This case fits the Blackberyy Storm to a "T" It has the openings for access to the buttons in all of the right places provides good shock protection. Just a warning though, it is very difficult to take off after you have snapped it on.
