 Great learning tool January 6, 2009
I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas.br /He loves it a lot...He keeps going around the house to find things he can use ...I just wish I had an option to purchase more slides.. I looked but found no one that sold them.br /Highly recomend this.

I purchased this item for my son as a Christmas gift and found it to be a complete waste of money and time, and a lot of frustration. Product, due to being of plastic, is not of a good quality. Working with optics is like playing with a fresh egg. Yeap!br /The worst part is a digital camera and its software. After the installation of it according to the instructions it caused the computer to crash. I tried another computer with a recomended operating system and... no communication with a device and crashing again. Well, in spite of my dilligent efforts to have it make to work I have gotten nowhere with it. br /I won't even mention my boys' heartbroken feelings...

I bought it, tried it and immediatley returned it.br /All PLASTIC. No fine focus, image capturing was poor and not adjustable.br /Save yourself the bother.... buy a different microscope

Works ok, hard to focus thru eyepiece. Camera feature is easy to set up and operate.

this is just the product that i was looking for. the picture clarity of each slide is amazing. my only concern is keeping the lens clean - it seems to be quite a magnet for dust. but i love the product overall
