 Excellent deal for the money November 18, 2008
I purchased this phone to replace an identical one that has served me for 20 years. I just finally wore it out. The new one has been in use for about a month now with no problems. It is our main land line phone so it gets a lot of abuse. It is a good, basic, no-frills phone that lasts. Sound quality excellent.

The first phone would not program correctly. This phone was a replacement and it, too, will not program correctly in all of the memories. Some are OK.br /I would not give it any stars.

We were looking for a quality phone from a name brandbr /company. We wanted a phone that had some weight, sincebr /we were concerned about it being knocked around on thebr /table. This phone fits the bill. The soundbr /is ok, but not always crystal-clear...however, there is a possibilitybr /that our lines are causing the problem. For what its worth....we boughtbr /one a few months ago and bought another for another room in the house.
