Sennheiser HD 465 June 19, 2008 Comfortable fit (good for long gaming sessions at the PC). Good sound reproduction. Overall, a great pair of headphones for the money.
Excellent Value December 16, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just returned bose on ear headphones for these and saved myself over $150. Comparable sound. Better build quality...(a little bulky though). Super bass wihtout sacrificing any highs as mentioned elsewhere. I just love them!
Horrible! All bass, no mids or treble!!!!! August 9, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
My [...]$ Philips surround sound, in-ear plugs I picked up at a CVS pharmacy sounds ten times better than this piece of crap. This is so heavy with bass that I couldn't even hear some instruments that I knew were in the high ranges! Don't believe those reviewers that suggest that a set of headphones needs to be broken in! Better to return this before the thirty days return time period elapses. Awful!!
Great headphones once you break them in November 22, 2006 I bought this 2 years ago. I was quite surprised how durable they are and how well they sound. Loved these so much I decided to buy the HD650s just recently.
Very nice - other reviews are accurate November 9, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Yes - these produce very VERY low lows. However, I have found the mids and highs to be adequate.
There was one review that spoke about what you are looking for primarily - I believe that applies a great deal here. I do agree that they are indeed very good in terms of bass and also I find that the mids and highs to be good as well.
If you have the option to listen to them before you buy - do that and utilize various genres while you are listening.
If you are NOT bass person or one who can appreciate or at the very least handle bass - then don't go for them. Other than that - GET THEM!
