I bought this even with the bad reviews. I have one of it's predecessors, a black one and it worked fantastically for 5 or 6 years. It still does but the on/off button finally died. I figured... how bad could it be? The one I have worked great until now.br /br /It's BAD. It's AWFUL. It's WORTHLESS. I've had to enter the codes for my tv and vcr 3 times today. The batteries are brand new... that's the first thing I tried. DO NOT BUY THIS. I only gave it a 1 because you can't give it a zero.

The remote is otherwise well-designed, but it doesn't work! It loses the codes approximately every other day and you have to keep re-entering them. Get something else.

i bought one version from best buy, then i bought another with different buttons, then i bought this platinum one because its so cool looking, just make sure you save the codes

I have owned two of these and both of them kept losing theirbrcodes I have programmed in it after a few days and both of thembrhad new batteries in them.
