I bought this phone for my dad whose sight is declining. The big buttons and caller id display are better suited to his needs than the existing caller id phone I use. However, I wish I had known before I bought the phone that it required 3 AA batteries and an AC adapter which were not included. I would still have purchased the phone, but at least I would have known that these should be purchased separately, esp. the adapter.
