Gospel Hour is Bad for Business May 21, 2008 I purchased this phone to use for two business phone lines in my home. The main problem I saw from the start was that the speaker did not work well when trying to retrieve my messages, which is set up through my phone company. The speaker would constantly cut in and out, necessitating that I pick up the handset in order to be able to hear the entire message.br /br /I purchased a corded headset, which plugs into the 2.5mm outlet on the side of the telephone. Immediately and constantly, a radio station signal with the Gospel Hour playing could be heard by both myself and the person on the other end of the phone. The signal could not be heard when using the handset or speakerphone, but only through the headset. I tested this phone with the headset on all three phone lines in my home and could hear the radio signal on all lines. This problem did not occur on any of my three phone lines when I tested the headset on the other telephones in my home.br /br /I called ATT, and they were unable to offer any help. Their only response was that I needed to replace the telephone. I did--with a Panasonic.
Nice, but has some flaws. January 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought two of these phones to replace some that were the same brand. The old phones worked well but their call waiting feature did not work everytime and you could not review the call list, it would only scroll foward, not in reverse. The new phones have a nicely lit display and the call list will work in both directions, but I have discovered that if you push the numbers too quickly, your call may not go through. The display will register that you hit the number but apparently it doesn't "dial" it. Pushing the buttons more slowly seems to correct the problem. The phones have a nice price and if you're not a high speed button pusher, they work well.
