 Great machine! December 1, 2008
It's doing what it's supposed to do. The sound is great, it's very easy to understand the messages that are left, as well as our 'greeting' message. Our old digital machine was dying, there was so much static it was hard to understand the messages that were left. We screen ALL our calls, so we needed a new machine quickly. This is easy to program, doesn't take up much space on the counter, and VERY affordable! Very pleased with the choice. I found this model on Amazon to be the BEST price around.

We owned an earlier model of an ATT ans. machine, which is no longer available. Liked it much better, more audible and had the two-way voice recording function that this one does not have. The messages on this are sometimes a little garbled. Helps when we turn the volume down slightly. There might be better ones, but probably more expensive. Would probably buy this again since it is not a bad price and it serves its purpose.

I like that I can set number-of-rings for more than 3. That was really getting me steamed with my old ATT. The voice quality on this is OK. Not great, but you can usually hear the words well enough. For the price it is a perfectly serviceable machine. Unfortunately their aren't many choices left if you want a stand-alone machine.

This unit is designed quite well, the only problem was my unit stopped working after only a few weeks. The unit would no longer respond to incoming calls.
Bought two in a row - neither worked November 13, 2008
We bought and returned two of these machines because they would ring but not pick up and record incoming calls. We called ATT both times and they said to return the machines. We are going to buy a different one after this return. We would definitely not recommend this machine.
