 Behind the times December 2, 2008
If I pay for an annual update, I want it to be reasonably recent. There are completed road construction projects near my home and other places in in the Southeastern US that are not included in this update. For example, an interstate 40 bypass around Greensboro that was complete in February 2008 is not on the DVD. Also my computer has a hard time reading parts of the DVD - I am no tech expert, but I wonder if it should be a 2-disc set.

No instructions with the cd. Upon downloading to Garmin, a menu appears and at that point there is no instruction as to which you should choose. After emailing Garmin a few times with this question, no response.

Garmin Map Update of 2009 City Navigator North America NTbr /Shady Grove Lane in Kathleen Georgia is still miss-identified. The road that appears is a driveway off of Sanderfur Rd. The real Shady Grove Lane exits Sanderfur Rd. about 0.5mi. southeast of the shown location.

I have 2 units and it's.....lets just say really weak for lack of a better phrase that I can only use it to update one of them.

Once you have the USB plug(USB plug doesn't come with the update maps) and the update maps its easy to update your GPS.
