Good 2-line speakerphone, no Caller ID October 28, 2008 This phone doesn't have Caller ID display at all; there is a misleading user review in that respect: "Caller ID only shows phone number and not the name of the caller."; it actually is not Caller ID compatible, the display is for the outgoing (dialed) number and maybe for speed-dial programming. Anyways I just returned two of these telephones (one unopened) because of no Caller ID, otherwise it seemed like a good speakerphone for the money.
Not as good as I expected May 3, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
GOODbr /1) Handset sounds pretty decent although it's fairly loud even at the lowest volume setting.br /2) Speakerphone sounds OKbr /br /BADbr /1) Beeps loudly everytime you push a button.br /2) Caller ID only shows phone number and not the name of the caller.br /3) My headset sounds like crap plugged into this phone.br /br /I think that I would look a little harder before purchasing this for a home office.
Good Phone January 5, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
There are very few wired two line telephones left on the market.br /br /We like this one for the following reasons:br /br /-Large, easty to see buttons.br /-Easy to read display with brightness adjustment.br /-Volume and ring tone for each line programed separately. br /-Ringer can be turned off completely for either or both lines.br /-Eight "one button" memory slots; eight "two button" memory slots.br /-Incoming call beep tone can be turned off.br /-Other features include speaker, conference, redial and mute.br /-Headset capable.br /br /There is no battery backup so, if power is lost: the clock needs to be reset (easy) the directory seems to remain; line 1 still works. br /br /Keep the manual. Some of the programming is not intuitive.br /br /Major weakness: the lowest ringer volume setting is still quite loud.br /br /Product recommended.br /br /br /
Only one hang-up! August 18, 2006 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Pros: Good tone quality; large, easy to read display, CID works well, buttons large, easy to use and reasonable footprint and price.br /br /Cons: Only one: Don't laugh - this phone is hard to hang up! Really! The reciever slips in and out of the very small cradle. And, no, so far (6 weeks) I haven't gotten used to it.
