The replacement battery makes the Swivel Sweeper more powerful than we ever remember it being originally. The key is to charge the new battery fully for no more than eight hours and then to NOT recharge it again until after it completely runs out of power. And then do not leave the recharger plugged in for more than eight hours. So we have had the new battery for over a month and only recharged it two or three times.br /Before, we made the mistake of leaving the old battery plugged into the charger all the time.

I give this 3 star due to cost. My Swivel Sweeper stopped working. I love the sweeper, it is so fast and easy to use after meals etc. I bought two replacement batteries, but unfortunately that didn't fix the problem. I read in other reviews that the sweeper doesn't work very long, my broke down after 3 months. I decided to buy another one since I already had 2 new and 1 used battery, hoping it will last longer.br /The batteries works as expected (even the old one) - I hope the Swivel Sweeper will too.

Rather than replacing a sweeper, buying a replacement battery does the trick. I love my sweeper and use it daily.

This is a real work-horse in our house. I have used it for the last two years to sweep the ceramic tile kitchen and hall floors and for light duty on the living room and den rugs. I literaly wore this thing out! The battery that is, and intend to buy a new battery for around $12. and probably will get another two years out of it.br /The best feature is its convient size. Fits out of the way in a corner ready to be used at a moments notice. It picks up dust and dirt with ease. Spilt dog food is gone is seconds. It cleans right down into the tile grout and does a super job for such a light weight little gadget. Its dirt bin is small but no problem. I often marvel at the amount of dirt that shows up in its bin. I'll bet Ive dumped over a ton of crud into the trash compactor over these past two years. br /It cleans in any direction and swivels around and under furniture. This thing is one of the "As seen on TV" that really works. My wife loves it too!
