This is my 4th rewinder as I've already worn out the other 3. It really saves a lot of wear and tear on the VCR player.

This GE Slimline VHS Rewinder is good. It is nice to use this to rewind video tapes back to the beginning instead of having to use the VCR and wear out the heads! My only complaint is that some of our old blank media video tapes that are little longer, bigger and bulkier than most other VHS video tapes do not fit in the rewinder. Actually they fit but the rewinder door but very snugly and the door will not close, it just pops open and if you can't get the door to close you can't rewind the tapes. But all in all a good product.

Being someone who watches and reviews quite a few movies on video, this little gem is an absolute must-have to help keep wear tear down on my video cassette recorder. Its only real downside is that it doesn't rewind a tape as fast as my player does. But I'm patient enough to wait it out a little longer, so no biggie.br /br /I've owned two of these machines-- this particular make and model, too-- the first of which managed to last about six years before wearing out. It probably would've lasted a couple more years had I not discovered the joy of Amazon customer reviewing, but them's the breaks in life. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that this booger is pretty durable for the kinda hard work I put it through, and I highly recommend it. With luck, the new one I just bought will last just as long...br /br /Now that this is out of the way, I'm off to find a good DVD rewinder... which I am having a bear of a time finding, lemme tell ya. No matter where I go, they're never in stock! Talk about a popular product... heh.br /br /`Late
