 not what I was expecting November 24, 2008
Incipio makes quality products but this one was not what I was expecting. br /The picture does not match the item. The silicone rubber sleeve is fine but I was expecting what is apparently another model which has a translucent hard plastic overlay that clips over the rubber sleeve. That version provides much better protection. The screen protector is a little tricky to apply but it is an essential accessory to keep the screen from being scratched.

The cover feels good! Black is sleek with the iPod Touch 2nd Gen, but the only complaint I have with it is it attract "dust" or "lint" from the air and it is hard to get it off the case.br /br /Still, I love it for the comfort in my hand and protection for my iPod Touch.

This case does a great job of protecting the 2nd gen iPod Touch, while accounting for all of the buttons and access points. It feels great in your hand.br /br /The only strike against this case is the removable cover for the docking port. In addition to the risk of losing the cover while removed, the cover is really difficult to re-insert.

Very happy with this, my kid has not dropped the touch yet. it has great grip and the color is not as flashy as the picture

I wouldn't feel comfortable with it in a backpack because the edges can easily escape from the skin. The included screen protector is garbage, my fingernail scratches it... Overall it looks nice and protects the scratchy metal on the back but it is way too soft to provide a secure tight fit to protect the edges. A key in your pocket could easily slip under the skin in the front and scratch the edges. If your looking for a case you can throw into a purse/backpack/pocket with stuff that can scratch your itouch get something sturdier.
