Truly one of the most outstanding products I have had the pleasure to use. Very easy to setup ... handsets have been pre-paired with the base station. Once you start programming numbers you can also very easily share them amongst base station and handsets. We use it with a VOIP phone line and it works great. Crystal clear all over the house ... a major upgrade in quality from 2.4GHz wireless we had before. We have a headset on one of the handsets for conference calls and it works great. We use it for long conference calls and it works very well. If you have a large house its very handy to have several handsets you can place in different rooms. In summary, a great product, for a great price ... highly recommended.
 Great system, but not expandable October 1, 2008

Several websites list this as being expandable to 6 handsets, but it isn't expandable at all. Spent 45 minutes on hold with Uniden to confirm this after I bought an expansion handset that wouldn't register. Be aware of this if you're buying one.

Uniden DECT 2085-4WX Cordless System with Digital Answering System, Dual Keypad, Call Waiting/Caller ID and Extra 2 Handsets and Chargers + 1 Bonus Waterproof Handset and Charger
I really like this system. Easy to setup and get going. (Except; You have to charge all handsets from 15-25 hours, but after that your good to go) I entered all my phone book entries using base, then sent all entries in phone book out to each handset. I had 49 entries in phone book, but they transfered very quickly. For the money you could not ask for a better system. I use Packet 8 phone service. Did not really have a need for a water proof handset, but I installed that one in the kitchen. This system has DECT 6.0, 1.9Ghz. Over All very happy with product.
