Product Description Choice Mail
With Choice Mail, you can quickly view and retrieve a specific recorded message among many. No need to listen to snippets of other messages to get to the one you want. It's one more way Panasonic designs communication solutions for the way you live.
Call Block
Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls from them. After their information is stored, they'll get a busy signal if they call you again.
Silent Mode
Now you can program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. For example, before you go to sleep, set the bedside handset to Silent Mode so that it won't ring for the duration of your slumber. In the meantime, the handset in another room is unaffected, and rings as usual.
Talking Caller ID / Talking Alarm Clock / Talking Battery Alarm
Now you don't have to be holding the phone to see who's calling; using text-to-speech technology, the caller ID information is announced in between rings! The phone also boasts an alarm clock that speaks to you, as in "It's time for lunch." And the phone politely tells you when your battery is low with a "Please charge phone" reminder.

State-of-the-art performance with a sharp, sensible design June 20, 2009 J. hanson (California) 67 out of 67 found this review helpful
If you like its features, you'll probably like this phone a lot. It's the best I've owned during the past 30 years. Considering my own relatively basic tastes and needs, I especially like the following:
* simple yet elegant design
* large display, with large text and good lighting
* a very usable speakerphone option
* a dedicated phone book button and handy joystick design
* a phone book that auto-transfers to all handsets
* automatic sleep mode for night-time silence
* generally easy programming even for klutzes like me
* an answering machine with mindlessly simple operation
* and most important, great sound quality and reception
But I don't like these:
* the lack of a ringer on-off switch on the handset
To be fair, though, few phones have such a button these days.
* the fact that I had to return my first unit
The first unit I received had a lot of background static and a slightly skewed visual display, but I'm glad that I tried another. The second unit has crystal clear sound and all looks good. If you notice either of these probs, I'd suggest trying another unit.
You know, it's just a phone, but I'm thoroughly satisfied after a month's use. Great phone, fair price, and reliable Amazon service even when a problem arose. Can't beat that.
UPDATE AFTER SIX MONTHS' USE: No surprises, no regrets. I stand by my review fully. In fact, I recently bought the 4-pack model for my elderly parents, and they couldn't be happier. They especially like its simple, attractive design and its large, bright display. What most impresses them, though, is the handy speakerphone option, which they use exclusively. For anyone with reduced hearing (or tender ears or busy hands), the loud and clear speakerphone could be a primary draw.
great phone! May 23, 2009 J. Thomas (Nebraska) 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
I recently ordered this phone, my husband and I think it is fantastic! It has lots of options but the one we most appreciate is the call block feature. It has helped to make our lives a little more hassle free with no telemarketers calling! We also appreciate the larger number display, and the all around ease of navigating the different programs. We are delighted.....excellent quality and excellent price, what more could one ask for?
Great phone July 6, 2009 C. M. Sharpless (usa) 22 out of 24 found this review helpful
Love the talking caller ID, block number, and speaker phone features. Menu navigation is easy and intuitive. Also love that it uses regular rechargeable AAA batteries so you don't have to find a specialty battery to replace them once they start to go downhill - just buy some new rechargeables at the grocery store.
Excellent purchase June 9, 2009 Darlene M. Proctor (Pennsylvania) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
This phone is everything it was advertised to be. Stayed charged for long periods and has good audio. It has many features including "Call Block" for unwanted calls..which not many others offer. It is small, light and compact....I am extremely please with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.
I LIKE THIS PHONE May 17, 2009 Suzanne C. Henderson (TX) 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
I like this phone - especially like the 'call blocker' and 'announcing' features. Only thing I can suggest is to enable a louder volume.
