Does as advertised February 12, 2009 David P. Krabbenhoft (Madison, WI) Good product that delivers as advertised. I use it for work, where I have frequent long (3-5 hours) teleconference calls per week and it has made those sessions much more pleasant. Colleagues on the other end say the voice quality is no different than when I used to speak into the handset, and the battery appears to have great staying power given I have used it for 7 hour calls thus far.
Short working range June 19, 2008 YXZ11 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have used CS50 for a long time and I got 510S as a replacement. After trying 510S for a few days, I went back to CS50:
Pros:
Works for both my landline and cell phone at the same time, I realy like this.
Good sound quality.
Cons:
Compares with CS50, I got much shorter range. This is the deciding factor that I switched back to CS50. Had it been a class 1 (100M range), I would have kept it and given it five stars.
If you do not require a work range more than a couple of meters, this is the right product for you.
Works okay April 4, 2009 A. Wilson (Santa Monica, CA USA) The device is by no means attractive, but the headset does work both when connected to the base-station/telephone as well as my cellphone. Sound quality seems good for me; once or twice the person I was speaking with said it sounded like there was background noise when I was speaking. Range is fine, and I can walk around and do things while using the device.
It's ok... compared to? November 19, 2009 Fair one (So Cal) I am a first time bluetooth user. The earpiece is somewhat uncomfortable although switching the different sized earbuds is helpful. It is very convenient to switch between office and mobile phone using the same unit. The callers though that I've talked to while using the unit all complain about it being very noisy, lots of static etc.
Does not work well with corded phones August 22, 2008 Thursday Next (Los Osos, CA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
After researching Plantronic's site for a compatable desk phone, I settled on a Panasonic. I had to re-visit Plantronic's website to get meaningful set up instructions. Although I was able to get a tone, the reception was horrible on both ends.
